What data, for what purpose

Where you are asked	Personal data	Purpose
Enquiry form	Name, phone number, email address, chosen topic, your message	To reply to the enquiry you sent. It is emailed to our business mailbox and stored so that it can be answered. The box on the form confirms this. It is not consent to marketing.
Creating an account	Name, email address, password (kept only as a salted one-way hash)	To create and secure your account, verify your email address and send account emails such as password reset and deletion confirmation. You agree to the Terms of Use and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.
Marketing box on the registration and contact forms (optional, unticked)	The email address, and for an enquiry the phone number, that you gave on that form	To send educational updates, newsletters and promotional communications from I Tag Financials. Only if you tick the box. Leaving it empty changes nothing else.
Financial Journey tool	The details you choose to enter about your family, income, expenses, assets, liabilities, investments, insurance and goals	To let you save, resume and view your own financial profile. We ask before the first save to our server; until then your entries stay in your browser tab. Stored encrypted and linked to your account.
Will Preparation tool	The details you choose to enter about yourself, your family, property, beneficiaries, executors and witnesses	To let you save, resume and view information gathered for preparing a Will. We ask before the first save to our server; until then your entries stay in your browser tab. Stored encrypted and linked to your account. You also acknowledge that the tool only gathers information for a draft, that a Will may need legal review and must be signed and witnessed, and that this website does not make a Will legally valid.
All of the above	The date and time of the action and, with some records, a keyed one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself. The hosting server's standard web logs may also record IP address and browser type.	Security and prevention of abuse

What your consent means

Not every box on this website is a consent. There are three kinds.

• Consent covers marketing communications and saving a form to your account. Both are optional and can be withdrawn. Marketing consent is never needed to register, to send an enquiry or to save a form.
• Acknowledgement covers the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice when you create an account, and the Will notice before a Will Preparation form is saved.
• An enquiry you send is used to answer that enquiry. That use is needed to do what you asked.

For the consents:

• It is given freely. You can read the website and use the calculators without giving any personal data.
• It is specific. We use the data only for the purpose shown against it above.
• It is limited. We ask only for what that purpose needs, and optional fields are yours to leave empty.
• It is recorded. We keep a consent record as described in the table above. If you have an account, the dashboard lists the records with their dates.
• It is never assumed. No box on this website is ticked for you.

The Financial Journey and Will Preparation tools may involve details about other people, such as family members, beneficiaries or witnesses. Please enter another person's details only if they know and are comfortable with it.

What you are not consenting to

• Sale of your data, or its use for third-party advertising.
• Advertising or analytics cookies. There are none. See the Cookie Policy.
• Any investment. Consent on this website does not authorise a transaction, a KYC application or a mandate.
• Sharing of your saved forms with the investment transaction platform, an AMC or anyone else.

How to withdraw consent

• Marketing communications: sign in, open the dashboard, untick the box under Communication preferences and save. If you ticked the box on the contact form and have no account, email itagfin@gogpl.in and we will record the withdrawal.
• Saved forms: delete the draft from the dashboard or from the form page. This removes the draft and marks the consent for that form as withdrawn. We ask again before that form is saved again.
• Account, including the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice acknowledgement: this cannot be withdrawn while you keep the account. Delete your account from the dashboard. Deletion from the live database is immediate and permanent; backup copies are kept for up to 15 days.
• Enquiries: email itagfin@gogpl.in and ask us to stop contacting you or to delete your enquiry.
• Anything else: write to us at the contact details above.

Withdrawal does not undo what was lawfully done before it. After withdrawal we stop using the data for that purpose. What is deleted and what is kept is set out in the Account & Data Deletion Policy.

Your rights

You can ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or updated, have it erased, nominate someone to act for you, and have a grievance addressed. The Privacy Policy explains each right and how to use it.

How to complain

Write to our Grievance Officer, Mr. Dev Patel, at itagfin@gogpl.in with "Privacy" in the subject line. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may use any further remedy that applicable Indian data-protection law gives you, including a complaint to the authority set up under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where that route is available.

Legal basis of this notice

We process personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it as they come into force, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it where they apply. This notice sets out in plain language what personal data is collected and for what purpose, how you can withdraw consent and use your rights, and how you can complain.
